  • Physical Measurements (Optional): Height, weight, bust, waist, hips, shoe size, and selected tags/skills (e.g., commercial, fitness, tattoos, vitiligo, etc.).
  • Media & Visual Content: Photographs uploaded as Polaroid sets ("Polas"), optional YouTube selftape video links, and upload dates.
  • Identity Verification Data (KYC): If you opt to purchase a Verified Badge, identity verification is processed directly by Stripe Identity. Stripe collects official government ID documents and live facial facial biometric scans. We do not store raw biometric data or identity document copies on our servers; we only receive verification status (verified/failed) and reference metadata from Stripe.
  • Usage & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction logs collected when you access the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal data for the following specific purposes:

  • To Provide and Maintain the Service: Displaying your public model profile, active Polaroid sets, and historical snapshots to visitors, scouts, and agencies.
  • To Enable Passwordless Authentication: Sending secure Magic Links to your email to log into your account.
  • To Facilitate Direct Contact: Forwarding inquiry emails sent by visitors through our contact form directly to your email address without exposing your address publicly.
  • To Automate Reminders: Sending automated background notification emails every 3 or 6 months to remind you to update your Polas.
  • To Verify Identity: Confirming your authenticity as a real person via Stripe Identity upon your request.
  • To Image Optimization & Security: Resizing and watermarking uploaded images, running automated content checks, and maintaining moderation queues to prevent fraudulent accounts or spam.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), our legal grounds for processing your personal data are:

  • Public Profiles: By registering as a Model, you acknowledge that your public handle URL (modelpolas.com/your-handle), first/last name, location, age, physical measurements, tags, and approved Polaroid sets are publicly accessible on the internet and indexed by search engines.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted third-party providers solely to operate the Platform:
    • Stripe Identity & Stripe Checkout: For processing payment and automated identity verification checks.
    • Transactional Email Services: For delivering login magic links, contact messages, and 3/6-month reminder emails.
    • Hosting Providers: Storing application database and optimized image files on secure European servers (Hostinger).
  • We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties or marketing agencies.

6. Data Retention

  • Account Data: We retain your profile data, measurement history, and uploaded Polaroid sets for as long as your account remains active.
  • Account Deletion: You can request account deletion at any time by contacting us at info@modelpolas.com. Upon deletion, all your profile data, measurement history, and uploaded Polaroid sets will be permanently purged from our primary databases within 30 days.
